A photography exhibition | 20 - 22 March 2020

In response to the pandemic, we took the difficult but necessary decision to postpone the pop-up exhibition of The Hood, The Hard, The Hungry which was due to be held at the citizenM hotel in London SE1, and instead, hold a virtual exhibition.

Photographs in this online event were verbally described and the photographers had a short interview, sharing the narrative and some stories behind the images.

This virtual exhibition was held on Saturday 21 March with a live stream from a location in SE1.

The pop-up exhibition of photographs by three dynamic photographers was to have explored some of the social commentaries around South London’s voiceless, capturing stories, moments and instances while reflecting on both the compelling and connective.

The people, the spaces, the places… this is a story waiting to be told. Dynamic in part, and reflective in part, this visual commentary brought together the timeless and authentic story of south London.

The photographers in this exhibition were Bayere Zouzoua, Eve Milner and Robert Raynard. All images were copyrighted by the artists in 2020.
